Sometimes the reality of your plans far exceeds your expectations, and becomes a peak experience. Such was the case recently, when I finally met a group with whom I’d been in touch for a few months. Coming from a psychedelic-assisted therapy clinic in Canada, they were visiting Mexico with a group of patients and clients, and were planning to have their own experiences with psychedelics in Troncones. For the last few months, we had been discussing the logistics of how to merge our worlds~ an offering of psilocybin ceremony with a therapeutic approach, in a way that felt safe, comfortable, and in alignment for everyone. When the time finally arrived, we were able to integrate our visions into a container that felt both comprehensive and magical. The work of holding space together flowed gracefully, and was more enchanting and healing than I think any of us expected. We emerged with fresh eyes and open hearts full of possibility. And although we come from different countries, backgrounds, education, cultures~ we are also brothers and sisters, humbly united as children of mother earth.
I’m grateful for the chance to lay down prayers within such a powerful group of healers. Now that we have met, there’s no doubt our paths with continue to merge~ so stay tuned for what’s to come.
